6 Regarding term-contracted workers, this is considered to have been attributed to the extension of the fixed-term employment contract in the revised Labor Standards Act enforced in January 2004. Regarding dispatched temporary workers, this is considered to have been attributed to factors such as the removal of the ban on worker dispatch to manufacturing industries and the introduced dispatch, the convenience of which was significantly enhanced in the revised Worker Dispatch Act, enforced in March 2004.
