42 In the Annual Survey of Corporate Behavior, the specific rate of change in the number of employees can be ascertained as category data. If the rate of change is estimated using a sequential probit model as the dependent variable, it is found that the better business conditions become and the more companies have restricted employment of young people in the past, the larger the increase in employment.
