(99) Medical expenditure for elderly people covered by geriatric care systems. Until Sept. 30, 2002, elderly people covered by geriatric care systems were those aged 70 and above and those aged 65 and above and recognized as handicapped. On and after Oct. 1, 2002, they refer to those aged 75 and above, those aged 65 and above and recognized as handicapped, and those who reached the age of 79 by Sept. 30, 2002.
