(26) Since sales prices and purchase prices can be estimated from CPI and WPI in the case of the retail industry, we made a factor-by-factor analysis of the ordinary profits of the industry in the same way as we did on the manufacturing industry. We used CPI goods prices as sales prices and WPI final consumer goods prices as purchase prices.
