13 On the disclosure of public finance information, recommendations came in an Economic Strategy Council report (1999) and an Economic Council report (1999). At the Diet, the House of Representatives Committee on Audit and Oversight of Administrative adopted a resolution on the matter in May 2000 and the House of Councillors Committee on Audit did so in November 1999.
