(62) Since the "Basic Policy" was formulated in March 2000 on the basis of the PFI Law, the number of PFI projects whose implementation policies were either prepared or announced stood at 107 as of Sep. 3, 2003 (22 by the central governments, 83 by local governments, 1 jointly by the central and local governments, and 1 by an incorporated administrative agency).
