(3) On May 9, 2003, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) published its estimation on the economic effects of SARS. According to the estimation, if SARS subsided in the April-June quarter, the growth rate was expected to decrease by 0.3 percentage point in East Asia and by 0.6 percentage point in Southeast Asia.
