Economic Outlook and Basic Stance on Economic and Fiscal Management
Economic Outlook and Basic Stance on Economic and Fiscal Management is the Japanese government's official announcement of the basic stance on economic and fiscal management in the next fiscal year and economic outlook based on such stance.
Usually, it is approved by the Cabinet before the government's budget is decided, and decided by the Cabinet before the deliberation on the budget at the Diet starts.

Mid-Year Economic Projection
The Cabinet Office submits the Mid-Year Economic Projection, which includes re-estimated Economic Outlook and a preliminary outlook for the next fiscal year, to the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy usually in July.
