In order to reveal the factors that influenced whether companies that had launched overseas operations continued or withdrew their overseas operations, a logistic regression analysis was conducted using micro survey data obtained from the Survey of Overseas Business Activities and the macro index of countries where overseas operations are established, whereby, variables selected via the stepwise method are given a score of 0 if they were continued and 1 if they were withdrawn.
