(27) Japanese stock prices are linked to U.S. stock prices probably because economic recovery in the United States backed by rise in U.S. stock prices evokes improvement in business performance of Japanese export companies and because the proportion of Japanese stocks in investors' portfolio declines due to rises in U.S. stock prices, meaning that investors purchase stocks to make up for that.
