22 Regular working hours decreased significantly during the period from 1987 to 1994. It decreased 8% in the seven years, dragging down the potential growth rate for the period by about 0.8% annually. However, regular working hours has moved almost sideways thereafter and it is not expected to become a major downward pressure on growth in the years to come.
